  1. Manwaring Letters, letters (see above) – Sean
    1. We are sending out the letter to Rec&Park, Shamann and the Mayor commission and thanking them for preserving the letters
    2. SF Rec&Park will incorporate Manwaring letters to India Basin Shoreline
  2. Bay Trail and Bike Path from Earl to Donohue – Michael
    1. Lawsuit between Lennar and US Navy is slowing down the development
    2. About a year from now Build and US Navy will review Earl St, that would be good time to review the Bay Trail again
    3. Northside Park has actually been completely cleaned up by the US Navy and ready to be transfered
  3. Newsletter Jill
    1. Topics covered:
      1. Kayak, Manwaring, Meet the Neighbors, Bayview Ribbon Cutting, Get-and-Vote, Link to July Minutes
    2. Planned on Tuesday
  4. Beautification: planters & cleanup – Max, Michael & Sean
    1. Comment from Richard to consider drought-resistant plants
    2. Michael, Sean and Max met and build the 1st three planters
  5. Discussion of Kayak Event – Jill
    1. Having a problem getting boats from SF Rec and Park
      1. 100 participants; 18 kayaks in the past events
      2. SF Rec & Park has other events around that time
    2. Discussions are under way with APRI to join forces and rename to “Family Day”
    3. Tori volunteered to be part of the Kayak committee (Jill and Michael are in it); Jill will include her in the commitee
  6. Innes Murals– Next steps – Max
    1. Matthew, Jill, Max built an inventory of all murals; sorted them out and restacked them
    2. One mural was picked up by an artist; others gave is permission to use it
    3. Max and Jill met with Luis, Land Mgmt of Westbrook; he’s in agreement with our plan, will help us with to advocate to John Stewart company
    1. Jill is working on a written permission from John Stewart; (Build Inc fence is the alternative)
    2. Discussions around the budget; Jill will send out a proposed budget

ITEM 5. 10:00   NEW BUSINESS

  1. IBNA commenting at the Historic Preservation Commission (August 18)
  2. Civic Design Commission (August 16)
  3. Ship generator humming
    1. Discussions what can we do, on hold for now as the noise level depends on a ship, plus is temporary.
  4. Return to in-person meetings? – Discussion
    1. Ask Kristen if we can have a meeting at Cafe Alma (Michael)
